Associate Creative Director – Social

Latitude is a strategic creative agency committed to using business as a force for good. We’re women owned – and fiercely independent. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on breakthrough creative with world-class brands. You’ll contribute to a culture that values innovation, integrity and growth and help us continue to push boundaries to ignite extraordinary growth for our clients.

Position Overview:  We’re looking for a Social ACD who’s not just a thinker—they’re a maker. Someone who understands that big social ideas don’t just start in a brainstorm and end in a deck. They’re built in real time, on real platforms, by teams who aren’t afraid to design, shoot, edit, animate, or AI their way to a great idea.

This role is ideal for someone with an art direction or visual creator background who’s ready to lead while staying close to the work. You’ll guide the creative direction of always-on content, social campaigns, influencer integrations, and reactive moments—while also jumping in to make things yourself. You’ll manage a growing team of social writers, designers, and creators, helping them deliver work that’s fresh and on-brand every time

Note: Even if you fall below or above the required experience, do not hesitate to introduce yourself by applying.

If you are:

A culture-connected, concept-savvy ACD who knows how to lead creative—and still loves to do the creative.

A hands-on designer, shooter, or editor who’s energized by making content that feels like it belongs in the feed.

A team builder who mentors and inspires junior creatives while upholding the highest standards.

A confident presenter who can sell in bold ideas to clients with clarity and energy.

A platform native who gets the nuances of TikTok vs. IG vs. Meta vs. Shorts—and loves experimenting with what’s next.

We want to hear from you.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Creative Leadership: Guide the creative output of our social content across multiple brands, platforms, and campaign types.
  • Make, Don’t Just Manage: Jump into the work when needed—whether it’s helping finesse a post design, tweaking a story format, or jumping into an edit.
  • Elevate the Craft: Uphold best-in-class visual and conceptual standards for all social content—memes to motion, templates to tentpoles.
  • Inspire and Mentor: Lead and support a team of mid-level and junior social creatives (designers, copywriters, creators), offering clear feedback and encouragement.
  • Own the Feed: Oversee the creative process for daily content, reactive moments, influencer integration, and campaign extensions.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work with strategy, production, community, influencer, and client teams to build cohesive creative that delivers.
  • Champion Ideas: Confidently present work to clients, advocate for bold creative choices, and know how to back ideas with both data and gut.
  • Stay Trend-Obsessed: Track platform updates, content trends, and cultural moments—and help shape how our brands show up.
Qualifications:
  • 5–10 years of creative experience with a focus on social, content, or visual storytelling.
  • A portfolio that shows you can concept, create, and lead standout social work—across video, design, lo-fi, high-low, and everything in between.
  • Hands-on skills in content creation: design, photography, motion, video editing, or AI-based tools.
  • Experience managing and mentoring creative teams—especially in fast-moving, high-volume content environments.
  • Proven ability to lead integrated social campaigns and work across channels and touchpoints.
  • Strong presentation skills and client-facing experience—able to sell and defend the work with energy and insight.
  • Bonus points for award-winning work or brand content that made a splash online.

The expected salary range for this role is $85,000 to $135,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and overall fit.
