You’re obsessed with platform-native creativity, energized by the speed of the scroll, and unafraid to jump into the fray with work that’s sharp, shareable, and strategically sound. Core Responsibilities:
- Create Buzz-Worthy Work: Concept and write content that earns attention—and belongs in the feed.
- Hook 'Em Fast: Craft headlines, captions, CTAs, and scripts that grab eyeballs and keep them engaged.
- Work at the Speed of Culture: React in real-time, jump on trends, and pitch timely ideas that feel right now.
- Multi-Platform Mastery: Write with nuance for TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
- Collaborate Deeply: Work hand-in-hand with designers, art directors, strategists, producers, editors, and community managers to create integrated creative across channels.
- Stay Sharp: Follow cultural and social trends like it’s your job—because it is. You’ll help decide which moments are right for our brands to engage with.
- Contribute to Campaign Thinking: While you shine in moment-to-moment execution, you also bring fresh, disruptive thinking to integrated campaigns and activations.
- Present with Passion: Share your work with clients and teams clearly and confidently.
- Explore, Test, Learn: Apply performance insights and platform data to evolve your work—and push it further.
Qualifications:
- 3–6+ years writing for social, ideally at an agency or content-forward brand.
- A strong portfolio of live work that shows you can write funny, punchy, moving, and memorable copy for digital platforms.
- A hunger to move fast and keep creating—without losing sight of craft.
- Experience collaborating with visual creatives across short-form video, memes, carousels, and brand-building series.
- Deep knowledge of social trends, algorithms, and culture—and how brands fit in authentically.
- Strong communicator, comfortable presenting and defending ideas to clients and cross-functional teams.
- Bonus if you’ve gone viral. Extra bonus if you learned something from it.
- Experience with influencer content, social activations, and earned/owned ideas is a big plus.
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, CapCut, AI copy/voice tools, or other creator-native platforms is a nice-to-have.
The expected salary range for this role is $70,000 to $110,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and overall fit.
