We are seeking summer interns who want to join our team this summer as we lead and grow our strategic design agency focused on using the power of design to drive growth for our clients.  Our work includes developing market insights, crafting compelling brand narratives, designing identity systems, creative brand and product campaigns, and executing these solutions to drive demand for our clients.

In this 2.5-month internship, you will work alongside our teams to learn and support specific accounts. You will also work with your fellow interns to use our tools to develop solutions to specific business needs. The internship will start in early June and conclude in mid-August. Key focus, in-office days will be on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the option to come on Monday and Friday.

The internship aims to integrate you into the operations and methodology of how an agency works with clients to drive demand for their products and services.  You will learn and be exposed to Account Leadership, Project Management, Strategy, and Creative Development.  The goal is to impart the value of an agency and inspire you to join our industry.

Responsibilities:

Overall

  • Assist our teams in researching consumer insights, trends, and market data to inform strategic directions to provide insights that will inform our solutions.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh, creative concepts and big ideas.  We look forward to bringing your lived experience and world view into our ideation.
  • Attend overview sessions to learn the ins and outs of brand strategy, brand identity development, experience design, and campaign development.  
  • Support agency marketing initiatives whether in social media, content creation, developing plans for upcoming events and/or researching trends to inform thought leadership.
  • Conduct competitive audits and analyze case studies to identify best practices.
  • Support the needs of the agency.

ProBono Client

  • You help deliver specific solutions for a pro-bono client in need of a brand strategy and positioning to support its growth.
  • Complete interviews and comparative analysis (competitive)  to help inform brand narrative.
  • Facilitate or be a part of facilitating a Brand Purpose and Archetype workshop to inform a brand narrative.
  • Develop the brand narrative along with the messaging strategy, present your recommendation to the client, and incorporate feedback and revisions to your work.

Latitude Generosity Campaign

  • Receive a briefing from Latitude on the Generosity Campaign launching in October 2024.
  • Develop a Creative Brief to inform ideas and solutions
  • Generate ideas, solutions, and approaches.
  • Present R1 of ideas and solutions.
  • Apply feedback and prepare for the R2 presentation.
  • Finalize ideas and solutions that address the objective of the campaign.

Requirements:

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Strong writing skills with experience in content creation and copywriting
  • Strong skills in social media management, content creation tools, and analytics
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Slides, Doc, and Sheets)
  • Passion for digital marketing, social media trends, and creative storytelling
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an open, fast-paced environment
  • Interns will have to use their personal laptop for their internship.
